Abstract:

It is shown that in-plane deformation of the TCC floor diaphragm is much less than lateral load resisting system resulting the system can be assumed as a single degree of freedom or rigid diaphragm. It is therefore connection details that determines the effectiveness of the floor system under seismic loads.
